ICBC Accredited Graduate Licensing Program (GLP)
The GLP is a practical curriculum grounded in sound education practices. The GLP is designed to integrate in-home, in-class and in-car learning in a gradual process of knowledge, skill and attitude. The GLP curriculum covers a vast amount of topics to achieve the 39 outcomes in order to meet the 7 goals necessary for these completion standards.

Completion StandardsThere are 39 outcomes. Eighty-seven percent of the competencies (34 of the 39) must be performed by the student satisfactorily in order to successfully complete the GLP approved course. These competencies are divided into two parts: Beginning Competencies and Exit Competencies. The course must be completed within one year.
• 100 percent (14 out of 14) of the Beginning Competencies must be satisfactorily completed.
• 80 percent (20 out of 25) of the Exit Competencies must be satisfactorily completed before a student can be issued a Declaration of Completion.

Additional Information• The GLP course consists of a minimum of 32 hours
• 3 sessions x 6 hours of classroom
• 12 hours of in-car (one on one with instructor) with discretionary time if needed
